About

Off-Grid Communication. Decentralized.

Meshtastic and MeshCore are free, open-source platforms that turn simple LoRa radio hardware into long-range mesh networks for sending messages without cell service or Wi-Fi. Meshtastic lets every node help relay messages across the mesh, while MeshCore uses dedicated repeaters and room servers to build efficient, scalable networks. Whether you're off-grid, outdoors, or just want an independent communication network, they keep you and your group connected even when everything else is down.

At Atlavox, we design and build high-quality radios, solar repeaters, antennas, and accessories that work with both Meshtastic and MeshCore. Everything we make is built for reliability, simplicity, and real-world use. Our products are trusted by hikers, emergency responders, the military, hobbyists, off-road adventurers, preppers, and anyone who values independent, long-range communication.

Who We Are

Atlavox is based in Bristol, Rhode Island, where every device is assembled, tested, and supported with care. We're a small team led by Matt Donley, a longtime maker and entrepreneur passionate about technology and practical innovation. Our goal is simple: build products we'd trust ourselves, with thoughtful design and durable construction.

Whether you're setting up a mesh for your hiking group, building community resilience, or experimenting with decentralized tech, Atlavox gives you the hardware you need and the support to make it work right out of the box.
