Strong, tall, and confident this 7” antenna delivers serious range and reliability. It looks great, performs even better, and definitely gets noticed. Big signal energy all around.
( old antenna disconnected in review for comparison)
I have mine installed on the Atlavox Beacon which is up on the roof, this lets me connect to the node over BT. I like that cause I don't consume a hop when having to use another radio as a relay. Packaging is superb and arrived quickly.
Perfecto!!
Great product great customer service
Easy to install and significantly increased the Bluetooth range of my node.
Finally, an external gain antenna for bluetooth, external to the unit. This makes placing the unit in a difficult place to access but with good Meshtastic coverage much easier.
At 75 feet connection is very reliable connecting at 150 feet conditions vary, but it will normally connect but may not stay connected very happy with antenna
This one works best, I had tried shorter round style antennas for the Beacon mounted on the peak of the roof and found that they were in the red for signal strength.
It's built like a tank. Very solid construction and many well thought out design and mounting options. You should watch the youtube video on all the ways you can hang it. Mine is serving as a neighborhood node with no issues
Excellent product and service
Working great, keep up the good work!
I live in a 3 story home and the antenna works best in the vertical position. The antenna is mounted on the third floor and I do get reception on the lower floor, basement when I am close to the same side of the home. It is perfect for the limited output of the signal without dragging my battery. I get service at anytime and at any duration. Fabulous item.
