Choosing a 3dBi antenna over higher-gain options is a strategic decision to maximize network reliability, coverage, and adaptability in challenging outdoor environments.
This antenna has an N-Type Male connector, which is stronger than an SMA connector and has a better weather seal. The connector gender refers to the conductor connection, not the threads on the housing. N-Type Male connectors have a female thread housing, with a male pin.
NOTE: The label on the antenna indicates 915MHz, but after recent testing we discovered this antenna performs even better at 868MHz. See the SWR test results below!
