Solar Powered
Powered by the sun with 24/7 uptime. Oversized 5w solar panel and 5,000mAh LiPo battery power the super efficient RAK 19007 WisBlock radio. Less than an hour of sunlight per day is needed to keep the battery charged, with plenty of capacity to carry you through extended stormy days with no sun. For convenience, you can also charge the battery via the waterproof USB-C connector when not deployed.
Long-Range Mesh Communication
When installed strategically, high above the ground, the Beacon extends your Meshtastic network by miles, relaying messages over tough terrain where line of sight is difficult to maintain between mobile nodes alone.

A superbly designed and built solution for a solar meshtastic node. 10/10 on the quality and design. I got this with M1 nodes, and having the radios all synced with their own channel is the cherry on top of this excellent system. Works great and is truly plug and play. Loving it so far.
I LOVE it! The build quality is amazing, it lasts forever (even with a GPS and environmental sensor), and I get amazing range. If it weren’t so expensive, I’d buy 10!
Speedy delivery, awesome packaging, and excellent customer service every step of the way!! If you’re on the fence due to the price point, don’t be. You really get what you pay for. The product is rugged, and versatile in every way possible. I upgraded the antenna, as well as the Bluetooth antenna, and added the temperature sensor to my package. Happy with the amount of nodes I’m able to pick up in a 180mile radius.
I the beacon is bomb proof! It’s extremely well designed and manufactured. The frame is sturdy and provides several versatile mounting options.
It’s up on my roof for now, where it could stay forever if I want it to, but I think it will shine as a quickly deployed node playing a pivotal role situation where a communication hub is needed. it will easily mount to the reach on my truck (in a static position), or whatever fence/tree/roof/tower/hill that is around that gives it the best position.
