• RAK19007 WisBlock Includes a RAK19007 WisBlock with the latest Meshtastic firmware preflashed prior to shipping, preconfigured with optimal power saving settings and Meshtastic ROUTER configuration. Upgradable with numerous sensor slots available. US915MHz version for United States. No license required, no registration required.
• Smart Charge Controller Although the RAK19007 includes a built-in charge controller, it has a low charge rate, and the board requires a manual reset if your batteries are drained too much. That's why an additional charge controller is used inside the S4. Under extreme circumstances, if the solar panel does not receive enough light for an extended period of time, the controller will temporarily cut power to the WisBlock in order to conserve battery. Once charging resumes and batteries are brought up to acceptable levels, power is restored to the WisBlock, restarting it automatically. The charge controller is also designed to charge the batteries to around 90-95%, in order to extend the life of the batteries. 
• 4W Solar Panel Integrated 4 watt solar panel array provides plenty of power to keep the WisBlock powered 24/7 under most circumstances. My test panel has been running for 3 weeks so far, mixed weather, and hasn't dropped below 89% battery. And the test panel only has ONE battery installed. All panels ship with TWO batteries, with the option to have FOUR maximum.
• (2) 18650 3000mAh Batteries The S4 ships with (2) 18650 3000mAh Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries. With 6000mAh, this should provide plenty of power for the WisBlock to operate without any solar input for well over a week. If you need even more stand-by capacity, there are two additional battery slots for you to add your own batteries.
• Waterproof The enclosure is waterproof, sealed with a rubber gasket around the perimeter, so you can install this outdoors without worrying about water intrusion. The SMA and USB connectors are also waterproof.
• Power Button A waterproof power button enables you to turn the WisBlock on or off without needing to disassemble the enclosure. LED lights provide information on battery, charging, and WisBlock power status.
• USB Connector A pass-through waterproof USB-C connector provides serial access to the WisBlock for firmware updates, configuration, and optional charging. 
• Bluetooth Enables you to connect to your S4 mode via Bluetooth from your phone to change settings and view stats and send messages using the free Meshtastic app.
• Removable Mount The removable mount is can be mounted anywhere, no additional pole or mounting hardware required. Use the included screws to attach to a tree, building, or other flat surface. The tilt angle can be adjusted to optimize the solar panel angle to the sun. Since the mount is easily removable, additional mounting options can be fabricated for specific use-cases.
• SMA Connector A waterproof SMA connector is used for attaching the included antenna. Located on the side of the S4, this allows the antenna to be aligned vertically, no matter what angle the panel is mounted. 
• Compact The panel, battery box and WisBlock enclosure are all contained in one unit, making the S4 an ultra-compact solar node. Unlike other solar nodes, the S4 requires no additional hardware for installation. 
• Assembled and tested by hand in the USA 30+ step assembly, configuration, and testing checklist for each S4 that ships. Parts are made in China, assembled and tested by hand in the USA.
