The WisMesh 1W Booster Starter Kit is a high-power Meshtastic radio kit that dramatically extends the range of your mesh network. Built around the same RAK19007 WisBlock base board used in the Atlavox M1 and Beacon, this kit swaps the standard LoRa transceiver for the RAK13302 — a 1-watt LoRa module with a dedicated power amplifier, low-noise amplifier, and RF filter built in. The result is significantly more transmit power and better receive sensitivity compared to standard Meshtastic radios.

Why 1 Watt Matters

Most Meshtastic radios transmit between 100–160 milliwatts. This kit transmits at up to 1 watt (30 dBm) — roughly 6–10x more power. But raw power is only half the story. The RAK13302 module integrates the Skyworks SKY66122 front-end, which includes a power amplifier, a low-noise amplifier (LNA), and a SAW filter. That means it's not just louder — it hears better too. You get cleaner signals, less interference, and more reliable two-way links at longer distances.
