This antenna has an N-Type Male connector, which is stronger than an SMA connector and has a better weather seal. The connector gender refers to the conductor connection, not the threads on the housing. N-Type Male connectors have a female thread housing, with a male pin.

An Excellent Repeater Antenna

Works great, easily able to reach distant repeaters. Very rugged and weather resistance. N connector and not so large as to require additional mounting brackets. Good choice for a backyard repeater.

My Goto N-Type Antenna

I own ten of these and deployed seven. They seem pretty omni-directional. The reach is pretty good for a 3dBi antenna. It is well maid and sturdy. The N-Type connector is fit, form, function of a professional grade connector. I really wish these came in black, brown, or grey.

Got this and the N-adapter to upgrade my P-1 Pro

Got this and the N-adapter to upgrade my P-1 Pro. Installation onto the OEM antenna bracket was easy. The number of Meshcore neighbors has gone from 6 to 10 and a nice boost in the number of repeats heard.

Wish I'd bought it sooner!
