This 6" 2.4GHz Bluetooth/WiFi antenna is a rigid, outdoor-rated straight antenna with an SMA Male connector, designed to give your Meshtastic™ and MeshCore™ radio a stronger Bluetooth connection to your phone, especially compared to an internal Bluetooth antenna mounted inside an outdoor enclosure or mounted high on a pole.
This is a 2.4GHz antenna for the Bluetooth / WiFi band. It is not a LoRa antenna and will not work on the 915MHz or 868MHz LoRa frequencies your Meshtastic™ radio uses to talk to other radios. If you're looking to upgrade your LoRa range, see our LoRa antennas instead.
Key Benefits
- 📱 Stronger Phone Pairing: External-mounted Bluetooth antenna replaces the small internal PCB antenna, so your phone can connect to your radio from farther away. Useful when the radio is mounted up high or sealed inside a weatherproof enclosure.
- 🛡️ Built for Outdoor Mounting: Rigid construction stands up to sun, rain, and wind on permanent outdoor installations like the Atlavox Beacon.
- ⚙️ Standard SMA Male Connector: Threads onto any SMA Female bulkhead. The same connector standard used across most Meshtastic™ gear for the Bluetooth/WiFi antenna port.
The SMA Male end has a center pin with inner threading (coupling nut). It mates with any SMA Female connector (which has a center socket and outer threading).
