A compact stubby GPS antenna tuned for the 1575 MHz GPS L1 band, with a straight SMA Male connector for adding accurate positioning to your Meshtastic™ or MeshCore™ radio.
Key Benefits
- 🛰️ Tuned for GPS L1 Measured VSWR of 1.4 and 78.4% efficiency at 1575 MHz from the manufacturer's anechoic chamber test — not a generic wideband stub repurposed for GPS.
- 📡 Compact Stubby Form Factor Small enough to mount directly on your radio's GPS port without needing a separate puck antenna or coax pigtail.
- 🔧 Standard SMA Male Screws onto any GPS module with an SMA Female input — no adapters required for the typical RAK and WisBlock GPS configurations.
The SMA Male connector has a center pin with outer threading. It mates with SMA Female ports (inner socket with inner threading). This is not an RP-SMA connector — check your GPS module's spec sheet before ordering.
Compatibility
- Pairs with the Atlavox Beacon when a GPS module is installed and routed to an SMA bulkhead on the antenna rail.
- Works with any RAK WisBlock GPS module (RAK12500 / RAK12501) wired to an external SMA Female connector.
- Works with any GPS receiver designed to accept an external L1 antenna via an SMA Female input.
