How it Works
The Atlavox Beacon is a LoRa mesh radio that lets you send text and data without cell towers or internet.
- Send encrypted messages to other Meshtastic™ radios by pairing your phone over Bluetooth with the free Meshtastic™ app.

Solar Powered
Powered by the sun with 24/7 uptime. Oversized 5w solar panel and 5,000mAh LiPo battery power the super efficient RAK 19007 WisBlock radio. Less than an hour of sunlight per day is needed to keep the battery charged, with plenty of capacity to carry you through extended stormy days with no sun. For convenience, you can also charge the battery via the waterproof USB-C connector when not deployed.

Build quality is amazing. You can see and feel the thought that went into this enclosure. The adaptability of the frame is better than any device that I own. Not that I recommend doing what I did but I had perched on my roofs peak unmounted for almost a week in Texas in February for testing. I was hesitant on spending this much for a node. It's now my favorite node!
Great Design well thought out I threw some magnetic feet on it and will use it as a mobile base. Got great range with the testing I have done so far. Will be getting another one for my wife's car.
Superb design and high quality - easy to mount in multiple locations and excellent battery life / performance. It's never dropped below 50% charge and thats in the middle of a wet winter in the UK. Definitely the best solar node I've used to date.
The Atlavox Beacon Solar Meshtastic Node has quickly become one of my favorite Meshtastic gadgets. It’s rugged enough for real off-grid deployment, but still very flexible in how you can use and configure it. The built-in solar power and battery make it perfect for blackout-ready mesh communication, and setup is simple. Overall, it’s one of the coolest and most practical Meshtastic nodes I’ve added to the studio.
The Atlavox Beacon has exceeded my expectations. The build quality is genuinely robust — this thing is well made and clearly built to take a beating, which matters when you’re deploying nodes outdoors. Everything about the fit and finish says the people behind it care about the details.
Just as impressive is the support. Matt has been more than awesome — incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. That level of customer service is rare and makes me confident buying from Atlavox again.
I’ll definitely be picking up more of these for my mesh. My only wish list item: a version with the 1-watt board and a larger battery would be perfect for remote solar deployments. Highly recommended.
