A waterproof, DIY outdoor radio enclosure kit for your Meshtastic, MeshCore, or iOT node project. This anodized aluminum enclosure is CNC machined with holes for the following included accessories:
Pushbutton latching ON/OFF switch with JST connectors (Battery disconnect switch)
USB bulkhead waterproof ribbon cable 100mm (200mm available) with sealing cap. Compatible with our USB waterproof cables.
Amphenol enclosure vent for equalizing pressure inside enclosure
Cable gland for routing solar, external power, or sensor cable or use the included hole plug if not needed.
Waterproof SMA to iPEX cable for LoRa
Waterproof SMA to iPEX cable for Bluetooth or external GPS antenna.
The enclosure and the included accessories are rated IP67 or better. Two ASA plastic covers have integrated foam gaskets with a bonding skin that sticks to the enclosure body over time, creating a reliable seal, while still remaining removable for servicing. Having the enclosure accessible from both sides enables complex internal layout without sacrificing accessibility.
This Beacon enclosure kit includes an aluminum internal mounting plate for mounting a RAK19007 WisBlock, and the included light pipes align with the LEDs on the WisBlock, but you can design your own mounting plate to attach to the inside of the internal cover for mounting any electronics board.
