• RAK WisBlock Included and preinstalled 915MHz (United States & Canada) or 868MHz (for EU) RAK19007 WisBlock Meshtastic™ Radio. Preinstalled in the full radio, or just buy the case and install your own.  
• Simple Disassembly of thermal-set threaded inserts means no fumbling with tiny washers and nuts. Simply unscrew the four bolts to open the radio to upgrade or add sensors, GPS, etc.
• Consolidated  A key design objective was to have all equipment secured to the bottom half of the case, so when you unscrew the top, you can remove it without worrying about pulling any wires or components. The top of the case does not have anything mounted to it, so you can safely set it aside when you open the radio. 
• Plug-and-Play Battery Switch No soldering required. The battery plugs into the preinstalled, custom-switch PCB header and uses an auxiliary cable to power the WisBlock. The battery switch, conveniently located at the top of the radio, is accessible one-handed by the thumb holding the radio. The switch is protected by top rails to prevent accidental interaction, and the strap and cordage slots bypass the switch. The switch needs to be on in order to charge the battery, but you can power down the radio module in the Meshtastic app while charging if you'd like to. 
• Upgradeable Integrated GPS antenna slot allows you to add a RAK12500 GPS or a RAK 12501 GPS in the future, or add it to your purchase and we'll install it in your radio for you. (If paired to your phone, a GPS sensor isn't required because you can share your phone's GPS data with the M1.) The RAK19007 has 3 sensor slots for additional accessories, like the RAK1901 Temp & Humidity sensor. Both the GPS and Temp sensor can be installed and configured on the radio at the same time.
• Physical ID Deploying radios to a team? Keep track of who's who using the 2-digit, 6-position alpha-numeric dice identifiers to immediately sort out which radio is which. This enables you to distinguish up to 72 different radios. By default, I will start your radios at A1, and go up from there. If you have a preference, leave a note at checkout and I'll see what I can do.
• SMA Compatible Purchase an optional SMA Male antenna, or use one of your own. 
• Securing Multiple holes and slots available for securing your radio to your backpack, lanyard, Molle equipment, or wherever you want to put it. All fully assembled radios and cases include a custom Atlavox hook & loop strap to secure the radio.
• PETG/HT-PLA 3D printed, two-part case. We are transitioning the black base to a  beautiful matte, high-temp PLA, rated for 150°C, printed with 4 walls and 1.6 layer height, resulting in a durable, heat-resistant, rugged finish. Textured front and back, with grooves recessed around the body, further enhances grip. The top cover is PETG "Forest Green". (More top colors coming soon.)
  
• Sturdy Stands tall in the upright position on a flat surface or laid down flat on its back.
• Power The case can accommodate up to a 56mm x 34.5mm x 10.3mm size battery. EEMB 3.7V Lithium Polymer Battery 2000mAh 103454 is included when you purchase a fully assembled radio. • USB Power or charge your radio with USB-C, flash firmware, and a serial connection to your computer.
• Bluetooth An internal bluetooth antenna is included and installed with the full radio. The case includes a slot for installing the RAK Bluetooth PCB antenna in the Meshtastic Starter Kit. Bluetooth enables you to connect to your cell phone wirelessly and use the Meshtastic app. The default Bluetooth code is 123456, but you can change it in the configuration.

Buy a fully assembled radio configured for North America or EU, or if you already have a RAK Meshtastic Starter Kit, you can buy just the case and assemble your radio yourself.

This case does not accommodate an OLED screen and does not have a user button. All customization and interaction with the radio is done wirelessly through Bluetooth using the free Meshtastic app or USB and a PC. Meshtastic is open source, free, and does not require internet, cell service, or any subscription service to operate.
